Hi Fellow Tri-Athletes,
It’s been 6 months now since my operation and I’m hopping along fine. Had my 11th Birthday in July and mom made me my “bump stop” (I call it my body armour!) to stop my hurting my stump when I slip down on it.
Can’t go the distances I used to do but can still find the pheasants!

The body armour is made simply from bra cups! I put one inside the other for extra padding and sewed thick elastic around the triangular cup. 2 straps velcro around the chest and two around the neck. Louis has his scapula and the top part of the humerus left and this forms a rather sharp point so needs protecting. He is a bit touchy about people knowing he wears a bra so thats why we refer to it as body armour!!
